No. The homeit box adapts to many doors and locks so you can keep your existing lock.

You can create and share unique access keys with your guests. They will then be able to use our APP or the keypad to enter in your apartment. You can also open the doors remotely using our platform wherever you are.

The digital keys are always unique by guest and stay and they are permanently deleted after the checkout.

You can control all entries in the platform. You can see who opened your doors using which device at what time.

Our APP knows when the guest doesn’t have internet and instead using the internet, it sends a code by SMS. The code is automatically generated in the APP and sent to homeit. It’s all automatic. The guest just needs to press “Send SMS”. You don’t need to write the code or manually send it.

Just copy the created key and share it by email or SMS with your guest.

It’s not mandatory to install the homeit APP. The codes are created and shared by you and can be used directly on the keypad or sent by SMS.

We always recommend to create a SOS key. This key is stored in the homeit box and can always be used on the keypad if the box goes offline.

Yes, but we strongly recommend to use a cylinder with emergency function. This is so you can open the door from the outside even if there is a key in the inside.
